Kezurou-Kai USA 2001. We invited 18 guests from Japan, carpenters, blacksmiths, toolmakers, shoji-maker. Mr. Zenba demonstrated how layout and cut Japanese joinery, Mr. Funahiro, Yokosaka, & Yamaguchi demonstrated plane blade making, Mr. Kamijo showed us how to condition the Japanese smoothing plane, he is very good at to use "5 sun" blade plane "5 sun" is about 15cm. At end of the event we had planing contest. I have enjoyed both days with Japanese & American woodworkers. I love this event.
